The dataset includes extensive information about the tender process, specifically bidder information. This information is typically sparse among contracting datasets. The dataset can be downloaded on the state procurement platform Tender Monitor as a ZIP file (CSV). The CSV file includes data in English and Georgian.
Tender Monitor includes different types of tenders and procurement information: - electronic tender: tenders with an estimated value greater than GEL 200,000 - simplified electronic tender: tenders with an estimated value up to GEL 200,000 can be procured using simplified procedures - consolidated tender: tenders in which suppliers bid on a unit-price basis, rather than total tender amount used for commodity goods such as fuel - electronic procurement procedure: procurement procedure on the Unified Electronic System of State procurement - simplified procurement: method of state procurement of homogeneous procurement objects with value up to GEL 5,000, in cases of urgent necessity, approved with President or Government consent up to GEL 5,000
CSV - The datamap applies to the Tender Data download available in the Tender Data dataset published by Tender Monitor. Originally, the dataset included 15 bidders with 4 attributable fields for each bidder (60 fields total). We did not include all of the individual bidders in different fields pertaining to bidder information but we consolidated them: e.g., bidder_x_name; bidder_x_id; bidder_x_lowest_bid; bidder_x_black_or_white. Data is available in both Georgian and English in a single CSV file. There is no data dictionary available so we had to infer the descriptions of the fields.
