The dataset includes information on all United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) awarded contracts (US dollars) that are made available online irrespective of value and subject to legal, operational and practical considerations such as valid security concerns. In a limited number of cases some information will be withheld if disclosure is likely to endanger the safety or security of any individual or vendor, violate his or her rights, or invade his or her privacy.
The dataset is unique to other datasets we examined, because it includes international information such as 'donor' and 'sponsor' fields. The suppliers are not awarded a contract to just one country but multiple countries. The dataset includes vendor, project, sponsors and donors information.
CSV - The datamap applies to the Contracts download published by UNOPS. There is no data dictionary available so we had to infer the descriptions of the fields.
