The mission of Colombia Compra Efficiente is: (a) provide holders of public procurement information system of purchasing and procurement that allows for online transactions, instruments and tools that meet the needs of goods, works and services purchased by the purchasing system and public procurement and providing sufficient quality information to make decisions, and to meet the goals and objectives of state agencies, the National development Plan and land development plans, ensuring optimal value for money in public procurement and contracting and transparency, and building trust (b) develop policies and legislative reform proposals , support and coordinate the management of legislative and regulatory reforms (c) provide technical assistance and work together with holders of public procurement (d) support the development of markets, and monitor, and (e) permanently analyze the behavior of the system purchase and procurement seeking continuous innovation and improvement.
